HI FLIST. HOW ARE YA'LL DOING?

*cough*

First, I want to apologize from the Deepest Depths of My Heart for being such a bad little flisters lately! I got in a slump, it happens to the best of them. If there is anything, Anything At All that you may have posted and I didn't comment on, and you'd like me to, PLEASE do feel free to spammity spam it up Right Here, Right Now. I am on the Sweet, Sweet Crack and would LOVE IT. Truth.

And now, a little questionnaire.

What, when reading sweet, sweet pron, turns you off in a fic? I've been reading LOADS of it lately, the dirty dirty variety, so I've been thinking about it. ;D

Some of my turns off:

+ the phrase "blow his load," and any variation of. It makes my face go *scrunch.*
+ "jizz" - just doesn't jive with me.
+ I dislike 'prick' when used in the heat of the moment. If its like casual conversation I'm okay, but not like "Dean watched his prick slide into Sam's pretty mouth." Kinda ruins it for me.

BUT I'M STRANGE. And its not like it totally ruins a fic for me, I totally keep reading it and normally it doesn't even harsh my buzz, but they're just things that make me at least pause for a few and make a scrunchy, bitchface.

THAT IS ALL. I'M GOING TO GO WRITE BUTTSECKS NAO.

i know that i am probably in the minority here, but when i read rps of say, the jared/jensen variety, i really dislike it when jared calls him 'jenny' while they're fucking because while i know that they are both clearly men, it always makes me think of jared doing a girl and it ruins it for me, so, i always read it as jared & jensen in my mind no matter what it says. it also doesn't help that i've never heard jared call jensen 'jenny' ever, so it's not that realistic to me.

I''ve had some turn off's in fic that i just had to 'recover' from a certain phrase or word before finishing the story.... which is not cool cuz the fic is good, you know?

"Dean watched his prick slide into Sam's pretty mouth."
0_0 that really ruins it, it just doesn't flow and whatthe PRICK? Just.

I may not have something for you to read, but I have news about a couple of fics you have already read. Two of my stories totally got themselves nominated for the Heroes slash awards! It's my first time! I'm a nomination virgin no more! Yep, As Daylight Dies (the one you helped me write, wherein Nathan comes to see Peter late at night and tells him not to move) was nominated for Best Nathan Characterization (holy crap!), and It's Elementary (the one where Peter and Arthur are eating ice cream and talking about multiplication) was nominated for Best Gen. OMG! I'm so happy. If I actually win one of the categories, I'll have heart palpitations, pass out, and crack my head open on the desk. But I won't care, because I'll have a smile on my face like the fucking Joker, yo.

I'm glad you're out of the slump and WRITING BUTTSECKS AGAIN YAYESS!

No, I agree. Even good pr0n can lose its momentum with an "off" word or phrase. Fortunately I only read the best (oh, yeah) so haven't come across* any of the examples you and some of the other commenters have mentioned ("Jenny"? Seriously??), but the only word I can remember putting me off is "cum". I really hate that word.

*no pun intended hur hur etc. (Sorry.)
