4. joedoone: Did Alexander Skarsgard really keep an officer-like distance from the actors playing the other ranks during the making of the series? If so, I hope you gave him a bit of stick about it.

JR: Haha ... I love this one. Yes, he kept his distance from us, but for two reasons that aren't as highbrow as they're made out to be. The first being that the shoot itself was really intense, six-day work weeks with a lot of coverage, and Alex was in almost all of the scenes. So we would shoot all day, from dawn until dusk, and he would go back to his hotel to prepare for the scenes the following day. This was because Alex has a Swedish accent and he wanted it to be as authentic as possible. The other reason he quarantined himself from the rest of us was because when he did go out, he was the wildest party animal I have ever seen. The two occasions we went out, Alex sang the Swedish football anthem and tried to fight an entire town. After that I was like, "Yeah dude, I get why you won't hang out with us, if you get killed or go to an African prison, the producers are gonna be pissed."

OH, SKARS. I love that goddamn Swede. I see rps in my future.

ROFLROFL I just saw Elijah Wood on Yo Gabba Gabba and totes thought I was dreaming/hallucinating/dead.  Since I had a dream about legs (YES, JUST LEGS) taking over my city last night, it didn't seem far fetched.

I am deathly, deathly ill.  Not really,  but I've got this stupid ridiculous cough that makes me blue in the face and hot all over and tiiiiiiiiiiiired all day.  Honestly I'd rather be deathly ill. Then maybe death would come and I'd be put out of my fucking misery.

My icon'ing is broke. I've tried and tried to icon 4.01 and I just can't get the coloring right. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but FUCK. Powers that Be, I am not fond of this coloring.

Generation Kill is my new fetish. What? I like Marine porn. Does that make me a bad person? If you want to live, don't answer that.

Since getting my DVR, I'll started collecting shiny new fandoms like a crazy person! Fringe, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Entourage, and Generation Kill - which was just a mini-series and is over, but I keep watching again and again on my dvr b/c the srs eyefucking Fick and Colbert do makes me happy in my pants. And Dark Angel, because I'd never seen it before. But I'm not impressed with the ones sans Alec. >_>  I'm impressed with my attention span being able to HANDLE that many fandoms. For serious.

K, I'm just gonna go curl up and try v. v. hard to die now. *salute*
