pretty much the best thing ever

"Look at me, I came back from the furnace without any of my old scars, right?"

"No bullet wounds, knife, cuts, no odd angle fingers from too many breaks. My hide’s as smooth as a baby’s butt.  Which leaves me to conclude, sadly, that my virginity is intact.  I have been re-hymenated."

"Please. Maybe angels can pull you out of hell, but no one can do that."

"Brother, I have been re-hymenated."

-------------

THE END. ANFKLAJER. I CAN'T EVEN QUOTE IT BECAUSE IT WAS LIKE TWO SENTENCES AND PORKY'S 2 AND THAT LOOOOOOK OMG BOYS, HUG IT OUT. CHRIIIIIIIST AMAZING EPICNESS.

Dean: "kinda like a mission from God."

So on the one hand, BLUES BROTHERS IS CANON ROFL. The other hand, however, wants to know what is this bullshit. I don't like Dean being all weird and faith-y all of a sudden. And that's not a complaint about the show, that's just my personal preference. I like my men cynical, tyvm. :P

AS IF I DIDNT WANT TO BEND JENSEN OVER ENOUGH, HE SAYS MY NAME A MILLION TIMES IN ONE EPISODE.

BRB BONER.

LOL. That was my favorite part. Dean is so fucking cracked out I LOVE IT.

[identity profile] kilynn16.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
"The dude will not abide." OMFG DEAN'S A LEBOWSKI FAN!!! *ASPLODES*

And, yeah, I'm right there with ya; God's-#1-Fan!Dean is unsettling.

AHHHH Dude, I so love it when they work in movie quotes. \o/

I don't think he was being faith-y. I actually think he was being kind of cynical/sarcastic when he said that bit. The saving people, yes, but not the "mission from God." He looked very bitter during that last part.

Also, my absolute favorite parts were Dean being convinced he was re-hymenated (how awesome is that shit, McGee? I mean, like, for serious?) and when "Dracula" put him in the lederhosen. And if that weren't awesome enough (I almost choked on my own tongue, I swear), Sam called him "Hansel". And when Sam kicked in the "door"? Priceless. I laughed my ass off throughout the entire episode, and it still had it's Supernatural-y brilliance. I love Kripke and all who work with him to create the genius of Supernatural.

Hmm, well okay! Maybe I should just watch it again, I didn't remember sarcasm the first time.

[identity profile] jameserin.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
i don't know if dean really is all faithy or if he was just trying to bag some ass. maybe a little of both - i don't think he's all GO TEAM GOD! just yet. a lot of it was what castiel basically said, just in dean!speak.

Yeah, maybe I should watch it again. That's like MY fear, Dean going all "Red Rover Red Rover Send Jesus Right Over", cause that? Would totally turn me off the show. lol.

Also? This wank = BANANAS. I don't normally even read teh wank, but omg, this chick. I want to sic John Winchester on her high and might I know all even thought I don't know shit ass.

Or maybe I should just go to bed. >_>

[identity profile] keldjinfae-moon.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
However, sending Jesus over in a game of Red Rover just made me crack the fuck up. And I just got a Dean/Sam AU idea where Dean and Sam were raised in a, like, uber-religious family, and Sam's all Gung-Ho God because he secretly wants his brother, so he's holier than thou, but he's a hypocrite. And I'm not sure where I'd go with it, but... it's the beginning of something. And it's something that isn't from Kingdom Hearts, so... bonus! Not that I ever stopped thinking about SamnDean, 'cause, hallo!

[identity profile] keldjinfae-moon.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 08:28 am (UTC)(link)
Also, what is this absurd wank of which you speak?

[identity profile] oh-mcgee.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 05:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It seems to have been deleted now, lol. It started out as a "I think Sam is raping the girl trapped inside Ruby's body", but basically it was a whole lot of people telling the original poster that its all speculation and no one knows anything for sure, and the original poster saying "YAH, I DO KNOW." And we're all like, oh okai, are you Eric Kripke in disguise then? And she just generally made no sense and it resulted in mass hairpulling. I bet you're sad you missed out. :p

[identity profile] keldjinfae-moon.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Aww, damn! I would've loved bitching her out. But hey, she deleted the post so maybe she feels stupid. *giggles* That whole scenario reminds me of something that happened to [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic a little while ago regarding the Dark Knight fandom. She wrote some Joker/Batman slash, and this one girl decided to bitch her out for the stupidest reasons ever. It was like... she didn't even read the story, but she decided she absolutely had to call iris out for writing slash, even though she doesn't really have anything against slash, but iris shouldn't be writing it. Or! that one time when [livejournal.com profile] roseganymede wrote the adorable Dean with oatmeal creme pies in a Batman duffle for Sammy's birthday fic, and that one woman decided she was the goddess of all things Little Debbie. *cracks up* Wanks make me laugh, yo, because the wankers get so... angry and spluttery, so their logic gets more and more... out there.

[identity profile] silme711.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 09:13 am (UTC)(link)
THE QUOTES WIN AT EVERYTHING!!!! :D

But yeah, Dean doing the holy...I don't think they'll go there but ugh that'd suck.

Yeah, probably definitely not. It just squicks me out everytime he talks about God, lol. And I'm still having nightmares about him referring to Castiel as Cas.. *shudders*

[identity profile] cosmicavatar.livejournal.com 2008-10-19 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm hoping Dean was doing the "mission from God" thing mainly to pull, although sometimes he was sounding a little too serious and yet not convincing. It was a little strange. I'm not sure whether it was because Jensen didn't quite carry off what he was trying to achieve or what. I was waiting for Dean to say something self-deprecating to break the mood because, if I'd just met him, I wouldn't know what to make of that bit at all. Fortunately he did recover his humour shortly after that, so no harm done!

That aside, this ep was utterly awesome.
