Words: 100
Disclaimer: Kripke is Boss.
Star Motel. Somewhere, Idaho. Dean’s been gone (not dead) eighty-four days and Sam still requests two queens at the front desk.
He pulls the sheets down on the other (Dean’s) bed, puts two toothbrushes by the sink. When he brushes, he squeezes from the top of the tube and afterward he crawls into the bed closest to the door.
He eats donuts for breakfast, takes his coffee black. He thinks if he pretends Dean’s still there it won’t hurt like someone ripped his soul out of the gaping hole in his chest where his heart used to be.
He’s wrong.

Great look at how Sam's not coping too well after Dean's death.
