I must stop Christmas from coming. But what will I wear?!

I'm trying not to hate Christmas. I am. Okay, I was. Then my husband came home with his truck all banged up and a lame excuse about not calling me and I totally gave up.  But I was writing this earlier, trying to get myself un-Grinchy, so I'll finish it up and if it actually works, then miracles do exists, Virginia. 


Things About Christmas That Don't Make Me Want To Throw Kittens Out The Window of a Vehicle Going Roughly 120 mph

1. White Chocolate Covered Pretzels with sprinkles.  Homemade White Chocolate Covered Pretzels with sprinkles. Store bought kind? DO NOT WANT.
   
2. Christmas Lights. Because one year I was mocking this one house's ghetto fab display of lights/decorations and my husband (then boyfriend) said something uncharacteristically kind, like  "That's not fair. They're celebrating Christmas in their own way, at least they're doing something." And he made me feeling terribly guilt and go O.o and every since then I love to look at christmas lights. Even the Ghetto Fab ones. ^_^
3. Alvin and the Chipmunks - Meeeee I waaant a huuula hoooop.  'Nuff said.
4. The Food Iz Gud.  My traditional holiday foods = cheeseballs. eggnog. big ass oatmeal chocolate chip pecan cookies. sausage cheese balls. chex mix. hot apple cider punch.  date nut roll. 
   
5. Holiday Coffee flavors.  Ok, so I had to try really hard to come up with a number five. That's how Grinchy McGrinch I really am.
   

Well.  That didn't work.  It's almost the 23rd.  Only two more days.  Then I get to look forward to New Year's. I fucking love New Years, yo.

Zooey Deschanel is the cutest little thing. I SWEAR.  Her and Nora = Guh.  Zora ftw?

80% of my flist has been HAPPY HAPPY HOLIDAYS YAY for the last month (and the remaining 20% hasn't uttered a word about the holidays), so you can't imagine how happy I was to see proof that hey! I'm not the only Grinch! Thank you.

I tried to think of stuff to list in that meme, but stopped after 1. days off not that it affects my job and we're making an inventory on the 31st anyway.

I know what you mean! I was even reluctant to post this and come off as some super uber grinch person, but it had to be done. It does feel good to know that not everyone is OMG YAY CHRISTMAS. It will be over soon. YAY!
