TVGuide.com: Were you extra-nervous doing Ruby and Sam's love scene, knowing that the boys get precious few of them?
Cortese: There were two things at play. One, I figured they're not going to be looking at me anyway; they're going to be looking at Jared. And two, I was more nervous because he is so big and so tough! [Laughs] Jared's muscles... I mean, his arm is like the size of my body!

Cortese: Yeah! Knowing how Ruby was emotionally, I really felt good about it, because it was important to see that desperation. It's like Monster's Ball — it's about two people who are so broken and sad.

Exfuckingactly. Broken and sad. These are true facts.  Its not about Sam sleeping with a demon, or with Ruby, or the fact that Sam's never used sex and booze as a comfort before - his brother had never been in hell before, either, homes.  He was a broken boy without his Dean. :(

Lol! PERFECT! Everything about this (both the article and your commentary) is spot-on.

Plus, I've noticed that TV really likes showing off Cortese's body. When she was on Wildfire (very little-known show), they were like, having her do "racy" stuff on a family TV show. It was hilarious. So now she's on the CW and they're like, "Okay, now you can take your shirt off, and your bra. Awesome!"

Although, next week's preview has me seein' somethin' that doesn't make as much sense. I won't say anything if you haven't seen said preview, but I understood Sam's sex scene because yes, desperation and depression, and yes, ARMS HOLY HELL ARMSSS! But... eh...

I do not get it either. Like, at all. But I trust Kripke & Co, so I guess they'll make it believable? Maybe there will be jealous!Dean subtext and he just bangs Anna to get back at Sam. :p

This is what I believe. I'm thinking they'll either go with the jealous subtext, or they'll try to throw in some kind of "angels... how 'bout 'em, huh?" sort of side story.

Either way, I'm sort of making Jensen's dramatic face. That is, the parody of the dramatic face. Heh, hilarious. See? Already thinking about something else. But damn, I'm back again.
