I have in my lap a copy of The Watchmen. Oh. Mah. Gahd. It is so shiny. O_O I had never read a graphic novel before bigfiction sent Ghostworld to me. Which is, by the way, the epitome of Fantasmic and you all should read it, poste haste.

Speaking of being a bibliophile, there's a graphic novel version of Coraline. Asdfjkd;a. ITS SO PRETTY AND SHINY AND SCARY OMG. *WANTS* Alas, I cannot spend my husbands entire paycheck on shiny book-like things for myself. D:

I borrowed Watchmen from a friend and found it pretty repellent, although there's a reason it's a classic. Now that the movie is coming out, I may have to buy a copy of my own, despite my feelings about it. *gnashes teeth*
