It could be said that today is not the best day ever. The worst part is that nothing actually happened, I just woke up depressed. Hurray!

Peter met him on the subway, warm smile and sad, brown eyes, took him out for coffee where they each went on about dysfunctional families and overprotective big brothers, and when Sam leaned forward and kissed him, Peter felt like someone finally got him.
