The man chuckles darkly, writhing against the wall, pinned by an invisible force. “Might as well give it up, Ace.”
“Tell me.” Sam’s voice whispers all around him. The demon’s laughter turns into something inhuman altogether. Sam takes a step forward. “Exorcizamus te, immundus spiritus-”
“Do it!” The demon spits. “It won’t get him back, Sammy.”
“Omnis satanica potestas…” Sam turns his head and rattles off the rest of the exorcism. He feels the crackle in his bones when the demon is purged, turns and looks down at the broken body.
“He’s the only one that can call me that.”
