Three months after Dean was taken, Sam shows up on his door step, hands stuffed into his jacket pockets, hair long and unkempt.

“Good to see you, Sam,” Bobby says, customarily grabbing two bottles out of the fridge, extending one to Sam.

“No thanks,” Sam replies, eyeing the bottle cautiously. “Not thirsty.” 

Bobby’s lips fall into a thin, flat line. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t expected this. “God, kid. What did you do?”

“What I had to.” Sam blinks and glass shatters on the ground when Bobby notices the yellow in his eyes.  “He‘s my brother, Bobby.”

Thanks and yeah, I totally foresee Sam going quite morally grey in order to save/rescue his brother from the pit. Obviously I don't want him evil for like, ever, but it would be interesting to see a morally confused Sam and then have Dean bring him back from it. AHH I'm so antsy for the rest of the season, can you tell? LOL

Agreed. I definitely wouldn't mind dark!Sam for a few eps.
