Dean’s fingers curl around both wrists, tight, double heartbeats pulsing against his fingers. “Shut up, Sammy.”

Sam tastes like bitter memories: old books, old girlfriends, old times that Dean wants to forget just as much as he wants to hear those noises, the ones Sam used to make into his pillow at night when he thought Dean was sleeping.

He knows how wrong this is. Dean’s been holding his breath for years, drowning in an ocean of sin and fear and guilt; no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn’t breach the top.

“Dean…God.”

Finally, he breathes.

You're right, that song is perfect! Fits in with so much of this season, there's been so much talk of the boys' dangerous devotion to each other (Trickster, Dean, etc). I'll have to download it when I'm on my home computer.

And mmm, they deserve this, Dean deserves to take it, and Sam's probably wanted it as long (though I wonder if he carried the same shame?). Beautiful, hun. And somehow, even when there's only the vague allusion to sex, your drabbles still make me hot ;) Maybe it's because I know what you're really thinking...
