Peter sneaks down the hall, the shuffling of his feet on the wood floor cushioned by a pair of fuzzy teenage mutant ninja turtle slippers as he tiptoes past his parents room. Nathan's door squeaks and Peter hurriedly pushes it open enough to squeeze through. He stifles a giggle when Nathan snores and climbs up the high mattresses, poking Nathan in the stomach to wake him.
"Nathan," He whispers at first. "Nathan!"
"Pete?" Nathan sits up, rubbing his eyes. "Something wrong?"
"No. Look!" Peter squeals, pointing at the clock next to Nathan's bed that now reads 12:04 a.m. "It's Christmas!"

Peter has Nathan pinned against the wall, fingers curled around his tie, his lips hovering dangerously close to Nathan's. He reeks of cigarettes and women's perfume from the Christmas party, and just like always, Nathan feel like its his fault.
He gives in, using the excuse that Peter is drunk, parting his lips as his fingers curl around the nape of Peter's neck. He closes his eyes and tastes Peter on his tongue, sweet like candy and just as intoxicating as Dad's Schnapps, wishing like hell that he was as drunk as Peter. At least then he'd have an excuse.
