Lawmakers said that they sympathized, but that women should have to report they were raped if they want the abortion covered by insurance.

Wisconsin charges for the sexual assault exam, and then reimburses you if you report the crime. And sends you scary thick letters from the district attorney's office every three weeks wondering why you haven't reported yet.

It's also unlikely abortion would be covered by insurance at all here, for any reason. There's a large paperwork shuffle to have a post-miscarriage D&C because technically it's an abortion.
