yes, including when she got sliced open.I really do think Dean would've given Anna up for Sam, though. Even if they can somewhat understand each other, there's no way he would substitute Anna for Sam; Uriel wouldn't have suggested the choice if he hadn't known that Dean couldn't sign of his Sammy. *nods* Besides, Sam's plan was only to get the angels and demons in the same room; they didn't know that Uriel would be all, "I'll kill your brother." They probably had some idea, but Dean wouldn't have taken door number two anyway. I mean, all of this mess started (sort of) because Dean couldn't stand to watch his brother die.
I lost it there too. And then I choked on my own tongue when he told Sammy (he said Sammy) that he didn't want to feel anymore. Exact opposite of Anna. Somehow poetic, but tragically so.
