angst, sadness, and woe!
Sep. 4th, 2008 01:37 pmIt's payday - YAY! So I'm sitting here thinking about what I want to go and blow money on. I'm in the midst of a terrible, heart wrenching, butterflies-in-the-tummy crush on Entourage and I really want to get it on DVD. But I haven't gotten SPN or Heroes yet. Heroes, I wasn't too excited about in the first place because well, there were only a handful of episodes that didn't make me yawn or gag. So I googled Supernatural Season 3 Dvd to see what prices I could find on it, and ended up reading this link, a review on the dvd set. No commentaries? No Fucking Commentaries? What they fuck were they doing, sitting around with their thumbs in each other's asses? I know there was a writers strike, but jesus. They expect us to pay the same price for a season that's nearly half the episodes of a regularly season, and they even jip us on the extras? D: This is my sad face. Commentaries are like, one of the main things I look forward to on my dvd sets, and was especially the main reason I was going to buy the set, seeing as how I've already seen all the episodes and have them on my computer, and seen the gag reel already - which was great and hilarious and wincesty, but honestly the 2 previous gag reels make me laugh a lot harder. It was just different than the other two, like someone else threw it together. I'm dissapointed and I really hate that feeling! Especially about Show!!
Sigh. I'll buy it soon, just because I like to have the collection, but I'm not buying it today. Season 3 Entourage, me thinks, since I've got season 2 already coming to me via netflix. It'd be awesome if I could buy Season 3 AND 4 and be caught up for the premier on the 7th. But since they split season 3 into 2 parts, I don't see that happening. :P
ps - sorry if I harshed anyone's squee! I wasn't trying to be and I actually love season 3, no matter if it was cut short or not. You've got Sam walking in on Dean "in a natural, beautiful act," best-night-of-your-life-Dean, RUBY, "drop the act and be my brother again," demon!Dean OMG, wee!Chesters ahhhh, MYSTERY SPOT, sid-and-nancy-chesters...and that finale. I LOVED Season Three. I'm just sad about the lack of extras. I love extras!
And I love Entourage. ^_^ At first I was all, omg Ari and E totally has the hate sex, but then I put the slash goggles on and phwoar. Vince/Eric = bffotpomg. You know, if any of the .8 people on my flist that actually watch Entourage want to chat about their epic love, I'm always game. ;)
