The rusty bell hanging from the door clinks around and Ellen freezes.
“Ellen.” Dean‘s voice is sharp and acidic when he greets her.
“Dean. Sam.” She says and pulls two shot glasses out from behind the bar. Sam slides in next to Dean, legs brushing his brothers; Dean’s hand curves around Sam’s thigh, pulling him closer.
She watches them from the corner of her eye as she gets the whiskey, whispering and leaning in as they laugh, eyes only for each other, bright gold reflecting in liquid onyx. Even like this, they’re still consumed with each other.
Especially like this.
