some drabbles for 100_ghosts
Two drabbles. A bit of crack and angst! Crangst! That sounds like an awesome drug I need to try, stat.
Title: Black Sabbath’s “We Will Rock You”
Pairing: gen; sam, dean, and a duke of hell
Rating: PG
Words: 100
Prompt: Queen
Notes/ Warnings: Uhm, hai. Crack? Yes. SPN/Good Omens crossover. If you’ve read Good Omens, you’ll get it. If you haven’t read Good Omens, you’ll want to send me to the psych ward. Actually, you might want to do that anyway. \o/ *mad dash*
“Sam! I said Whitesnake.”
“Dude, that’s what I put in.” Sam ejects the tape and holds it up for Dean.
“Huh.” Dean examines the tape clearly marked Whitesnake and not The Greatest Hits of Queen. He reaches inside the box on Sam’s lap and pulls out Black Sabbath.
“-got mud on yo’ face, a big disgrace- GOOD EVENING, MR. WINCHESTER.”
Dean casually pulls the car onto the shoulder. “Sam. Freddie Mercury is talking to me.”
“ON THE CONTRARY,” Freddie says. “I AM A DUKE.”
“Of?” Sam asks the radio.
“OF HELL, OF COURSE. YOU‘VE GOT WORK TO DO, MR. WINCHESTER.”

John stumbles out of bed sometime around three to take a piss, switching on the lamp so he doesn’t trip over Dean’s goddamn duffle on the way to the head.
He pauses at the foot of the other bed. Dean, always the cautious one, has one hand slipped under his pillow, fingers no doubt curled around the hilt of that knife he loves, but its his other hand that worries John; the one wrapped tight around his brother’s chest, pulling Sammy safe against him.
At the next motel, John gets his own room. He doesn’t know what else to do.

And there's always the possibility that John's mistaken, and that Dean's got one hand on his protection device and the other on the thing that most needs to be protected (even moreso than himself).

As for Two Queens...I like how innocent it is. There's a bond between Sam and Dean that goes beyond 'brothers'. I loved it.
