Aww. *sniff* This broke my heart! The world needs millions more wee!chesters, and this was such a great picture of them. Rough around the edges, ever responsible Dean, seeing all the harsh realities and trying to take care of Sam, by keeping Sam from them, and poor Sammy wanting to believe in the best in people, dream of the best for himself, where with Dean it's not even a possibility. But they have each other - I loved Dean calling it "our tree." All the little details about their clothes, how everyone would see them, what their day-to-day life was like - you really brought it to life. And Sam's soft little sorry, the first in many lessons learned the hard way, that there's a reason behind what Dad and Dean do, even if the reason sucks out loud...
