This is it. The end. The hellhounds are on his trail; long, bone-chilling howls growing louder each second they wait. Sammy’s by his side, stubborn ass bastard, blinking through a waterfall of tears. He can’t hear them coming.
They’re so close Dean can feel every snarl of teeth, every guttural, evil bark piercing right through him. He tangles his fingers in Sam’s collar and slams him against the side of the car. Sammy tastes like salt and blood as he crumbles against the door and chokes on a sob.
“Come get me,” are the last words Dean says to him.
