"Took you long enough." She says, lips blood red and glistening as she smiles that half-smirk that's always on her mouth. It takes him a minute to realize the look on her face is pride.

The moon is full overhead, bathing the empty clearing in a luminescent glow. It almost feels like daylight. Sam says nothing as the demons appear, one after another after another, Ruby where she has been for the last six months, flanking his side.

"I understand now," He says as his army drops to one knee, bowing before their new leader. "It's the only way."

A/n: I'm a SamandDean girl all the way, and I felt guilty for there being no Dean in this, so just know that "the only way" means the only way to save Dean. There, I feel better now. :D

Exactly what SHOULD be happening. Tap into that royal lineage, Sammeh, and save your brother. Once you go demon, no one can really point a finger at you for incest or anything...

But seriously, yes. This is the only way Sam would ever give in - for Dean. And I really want the show to explore that route at least a little. *packs you up and sends you to Kripke*
