Do you have somewhere to be tomorrow? Cause if not, life happens at night, imo. Writing is always best after dark!
And I know it's not terribly easy, but you have to know a lot of the people who'd be reading your fic only know Marine life from GK anyway and if you bullshit your way through, they're not gonna bat an eye.
