I'm so tired of living with empty promises. To myself, to my children, to my husband, from my husband,from everyone else.
We're sure you'll get that promotion soon.
I promise I'll be better, I'll try harder. I swear.
Tomorrow will be a new day, a better day.
Of course we'll take you to Disney World, sweetie.
I'm going to do something with my life. I'm going to be successful.
This isn't going to be forever.
Sometimes I can't help but think that's all they are. Just promises, just crap.
