I just love Ben's character. He's so fierce and animate when he's on the phone with his sisters or talking to his mother, but on the job? So reserved. So mono-syllabic. 

The shrug. "You should ask him."

The one word answers to John's insults. 

I don't even know what to say about it. Stoic is sexy on him, though. that's for damn sure. 

You know what I really loved though? The scene with the two people screwing around in that back alley and Chickie's pathetic attempt at telling the guy to get out of the car. (Love you Chickie!) And John just kind of gives Ben this look and Ben is all RAWR and takes charge and it is so unebelievably hot. And you know John is thinking, this kid is going to be one hell of a cop. 

But okay, the best part was the foreshadowing. The argument in the car about how the canyon rapist was going to get taken down, and John saying he was going to be taken out not by maximum deployment, but by a single, resourceful, badass cop. 

AND BOOM-SHACKA-LACKA. That scene, y'all. That scene was so amazing, so suspenseful, so <i>powerful,</i> 

"You think you're a cop? <i>I'm</i> the cop. "  I gasped when she caught him and when she said that, I had to wipe tears out of my eyes.  I have never been happier for someone to redeem herself. I wanted so badly for Chickie to remember how to be that badass cop that John wants her to be (I know he wants her too, he's just pushing her for her own good, right?) But I really didn't know what direction the show was going to go in. SO. HAPPY.




Justified;

I am so loving all these real, down and dirty, gritty, gun slinging shows on tv right now. Olyphant drives me SO CRAZY. HOW MUCH DO I LOVE RACHEL POINTING OUT HIS SWAGGER? I LOVE HIS SWAGGER, OK? and trying on his HAT. And just...when he talks. The WAY he talks. He's so casual when he's about to put a bullet in someone. Like how he just casually goes, "Oh, and an ambulance." Because Raylan already knows he's going to have a shoot a bitch.
