I WAS TOTALLY GOING TO SAY THAT BEFORE! Parents just - there can't be more than one in the Disney-verse and if there is, they're horrible parents, the both of them. Even when it's just one, it's often that parent is either careless or simply evil.
And I know what you mean. As a kid, though, I loved my Disney movies to pieces. Sure, they scared me, but I grew up and they're great movies. I think children are either more sensitive/intelligent these days, or something. I'm pretty sure that I didn't think about something bad legitimately happening until I was at least eight. But now... they get so worried and frightened. It's kind of sad, actually.
But yeah, Disney is just kind of scary. I think in their t.v. cartoons at least, they try to make the villain silly to make it easier. Draken is the most loserish bad guy ever. And the guy in Phineas and Ferb is actually kind of sweetly sinister. But even so. It's kind of hard to think that there are a dozen or so, or even one bad guy constantly plotting on how to go about bringing others harm and though they get caught or stopped constantly, they always manage to escape and start over?
