The Crossroad Demon is a fictional character created by Eric Kripke for the CW's Supernatural.
This particular demon is given immense strength, physically and supernaturally, and dark red eyes. Purely evil, the demon also is very sarcastic and loves to play on people's emotions, making them feel extreme guilt and/or fear. Its main purpose of existence is to make bargains with desperate people in exchange for their souls. In order to summon a Crossroad Demon, one must find a crossroads and dig a hole in the dead center, putting in a box with their picture an assortment of other items which help to bring it into this world. The demon prefers to inhabit the bodies of strikingly attractive women who appeal to the men making the deals. However, it is presumed that if a woman was to ever make a deal with the Crossroad Demon, it would appear as a handsome man which would cater to the woman's desires.

Gordon: Do it. Do it! Show your brother the killer you really are, Sammy.
Sam: It’s Sam.

Daeva: In the Zoroastrian religion, a daeva is a demonic and destructive being. Daevas are combated by the ahuras who help to uphold the moral law.

Tulpa: A physical materialization of a thought, resulting in the creation of a being or object. A Tulpa is hard to define as anything could possibly be Tulpa. While the idea is still being focused on, the object or creature may change & morph into different forms as the idea itself changes.

You sorry sons of bitches. Why do you think you two are the vessels? Think about it. Michael, the big brother, loyal to an absent father. And Lucifer, the little brother, rebellious of daddy's plan. You two were born to this, boys! It's your destiny. It was always you. As it is in Heaven, so it must be on Earth. One brother has to kill the other.

Susan: What the hell happened out there?
Dean: You want the truth?
Susan: Of course.
Dean: Well at first we thought it was some kind of hoodoo curse. But that out there, was definitely a spirit.
Susan: You're insane.
Dean: That's been said.

Yes. That is Paris Hilton.

Werewolves
In mythology, werewolves are entities that are human but shape shift into wolf form during certain lunar timeframes. This phenomenon is also referred to as lycanthropy, for the Greek lykoi , wolf and anthropos , man . The change from man to wolf is held to be possible by witchcraft or magic, and can be voluntary or forced by certain cycles of the moon and certain sounds (such as howling). In some folklore, werewolves are immune from aging and most physical diseases. They can be killed by any wound that destroys the heart or the brain or by any form of death that causes brain or heart damage (such as hanging or other oxygen-deprivation methods).

Sam: Huh, when you sacrifice to Holnacar, guess what he gives you in return?
Dean: Lap dances, hopefully.

I hate witches. They're always spewing their body liquids everywhere. It's creepy. Hell, it's downright unsanitary.

Demigod-like immortal creatures that thrive on creating mischief and mayhem. With the power to make objects materialize out of thin air, the Trickster accomplishes its destructive feats via unusual and oftern humorous means, its intent to humble the self-important. The Tricker's metabolism is such that it craves sugary treats and consumes calories voraciously. To kill a Trickster one must obtain a stake dipped in the blood of its victim and plunge it into the creature's heart. Famous Tricksters include Loki of Scandinavian myth and Anansi of West Africa.

In 3.14 Long-Distance Call, the Crocotta contacts people by phone or computer, imitating the voice of a loved one, and convincing the victim to kill themselves.

Dean: It’s simple. Black and white. Human or non-human. See, what the doc is, is a freaking monster. I can’t do it. I’d rather go to hell.

Lilith has white eyes, and an affinity for possessing young girls. Her idea of fun is to possess a young girl and torment and kill her family. She likes to drink the blood of newborn babies.
The rougarou, also spelled roux-ga-roux, rugaroo or rugaru, is a werewolf-like creature with lore from the French-speaking communities of southern Louisiana ("garou" means "a man who transforms into an animal").

Dracula: Everywhere I ran, everywhere I tried to hide, people found me, dragged me out, attacked me. Called me "freak," called me "monster." Then I found... them. The great monsters. In their movies, they were strong, they were feared. They were beautiful. And now I am like them. Commanding. Terrifying.
Jamie: Lonely.

... It explains that the appeal of seducing its victims is to fall in love again and again. Apparently, that love isn't only a sexual love, but any kind of love (e.g. brotherly love) - it latches onto Dean's love for Sam, turning it on itself.

Okay, so, not exactly the MotW. But! TODD!
After the spell is broken, Dean helps him maintain the illusion that he's not to be messed with.

Meanwhile, the children-changelings feed off the human mother's synovial fluid by suckling with their round, many-toothed mouth at the back of her neck

Castiel: The decision's been made.
Uriel: By a mud monkey.
Castiel: You shouldn't call them that.

Castiel: You're close to blasphemy.

Sam: But you're a demon!
Ruby: Don't be such a racist.
Zachariah: You'll do everything you're destined to do, all of it. But I know, I know, you're not strong enough, you're scared, you got daddy issues, you can't do it, right?
Dean: Angel or not, I will stab you in your face.

You can't run, not from me. I'm inside that angsty little noggin of yours.

Sam: No wonder none of the tests worked. You're not shapeshifers. You're ghouls.
Kate: You know, I find that term racist.

"and there fell a great star from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon the river, and the name of the star was wormwood. And many men died."

Castiel, corrects the idea that the Antichrist is the son of Satan. The Bible, according to Castiel is wrong, and the Anti-Christ is not the son of Lucifer, but demon spawn born of humans.

Sam: You look like...
Dean: The old chick in "Titanic." I know. Shut up.
Sam: I was gonna say Emperor Palpatine.
Dean: Can I shoot her?
Sam: Not in public.

Charlie was like my brother and now he's dead because I did the right thing. He offered me a gift and I threw it back in his face, so now I have to spend the rest of my life old and alone. What's so right about that?

Whatever you do, you will always end up... here. No matter what choices you make, whatever details you alter, we will always end up... here.

A creature that was once human but was transformed into an immortal evil spirit when it took up the practice of cannibalism.

This is the first episode in which Rock Salt was considered a threat to supernatural demons. It was "invented" by writers Ron Milbauer and Terri Hughes Burton. Eric Kripke agreed it "...was the perfect combination of occult element -salt is a folkloric repellant of evil - and the blue-collar aspect of shotguns."

And the best is saved for last. Oh, Sammy Winchester, with your pretty pretty angst and demon blood and season two emo swoop, you never stood a chance. And it wasn't even your fault. You tried to run away from it, but you finally realized that's just not possible. You've got demon blood and your brother's been to hell. There really is no normal left for you guys. Just don't say yes to Satan, k?
