As an episode, not so hot - kinda choppy - but as a Sam/Dean development, pretty good, I thought. Yeah, there was worry to be had, when they were butting heads, but I was hoping that this was good, getting it out in the open, and so it was, cuz the boys actually DEALT with their shit and talked about it and are making compromises...like a married couple ;)
I dug the idol monologue too - and I loved that Dean nodded, like he agreed. I haven't read American Gods in forever either; I love that book! I have Anansi Boys too but never got around to it...
The "Soon" clips look awesome! Old!Dean?! You know I'm going to write that sex ;) Sam getting slapped by an old flame for once? Badass!Cas? So much to look forward to...
