Heroes Episode 2x10 - Truth and Consequences meta

My thoughts on tonights episode are as follows, not entirely coherant, and most likely infested with !'s and chronic capslock disorder.  Beware.

Sorted by character b/c I'm anal/ocd/a little insane.



Adam & Peter aka The Epitome of Hot, Hot Sex

Adam and Peter had me squeeing and "HOSHIT"ing multiple times throughout this episode. Pretty much everytime they were on screen I was making some sort of inappropriate sounds.  I love me some manipulated/naive!Peter. I can't help it. There are things wrong with my brain.

Highlights?

Peter knocking the bitch out with her shotgun.

Peter saying, "Why did you lie to me, Victoria?"   *GOOD SHIVERS*

Peter using bad ass telepathy to get info out of her brain. 

Peter's doubtful face when Adam is so graciously untying the woman that just shot them both, lol.

Peter saying "I can't let you hurt him," to Hiro.

PETER SPARKING UP ALL THREATENING LIKE AT HIRO! HIRO!! ZOMG! *FLAILS ARMS AND LEGS*  Seriously? That was fucking hot, I don't care who you are. *aware she has issues*


Sylar

OMFG.  SYLAR IS BACK, BB. WITH AN EXTRA DOSE OF EVIL, HEAVY ON THE SEDUCTION AND MANIPULATION. I hate Maya, but w/e.  HE IS EVIL AND IT IS HOT.

So the tea or w/e in the park was laaaaaame, but the way Quinto can change from sympathetic to OMGSOEVIL in a blink always amaaaazes me.  Him flat out admitting to Maya how he killed his mother, completely using her, because HAI, YOU'VE PROBABLY KILLED WAY MORE PEOPLE. Probably not, but still.  HI POT, MEET KETTLE. Or summat.

Alejandro: You're evil and you killed your mum, but I think I can take you!
Sylar: *stabbity stab*
fangirls: *REJOICE*
clock: *is a sexy ticking machine*

LOL @ Maya's face when Sylar walked out the door all wet and shiny and WITHOUT A BLOODY SHIRT ON, OMGWTFBARECHESTAS;DLKJGJL;. She pretty much went braindead, as any normal person would.  And then with the making out with a dead body two inches away. That's totally Sylar's kink. (Mohinder/Zane anyone?)

OMG THE END. MOLLY!!! NOOOOO!!! PHONESEX WITH MOHINDER!!! YAY!!!!  MAYA? WTF?  Apparently she actually was rendered brain dead by Sylar's shiny wetness, seeing as how she's all okay with his creepy child kidnapping and stroking of the hair??? *stabbity*

Bennets/West

I actally liked Hayden's acting this episode. It was so touching it made me hurt. And a big ole fuck you to Bob, btw. He is seriously 12 kinds of evil and I hate him. A lot. But WTG SANDRA! I've always loved her.  I loved West re: windchimes. He was all, "wtf mate?" LOL

Claire catching Elle and threatening to expose them all. Bad idea, pumpkin, but then again you don't always come up with the greatest ideas.

HRG: WAH. I can't wait till he busts out of that table and tears all the shit up. FO REAL.

Hiro/Ando

"You're like a hamster," FTW. ILU HIRO.

Hiro: *teleports*
Ando: Damn it! You never take me anywhere special anymore!

Hiro taking his sword, realizing he needs to kill Adam with it. Ooooh, foreshadowing much?

Micah/Niki/Monica/Others

Bored me, like always.  I've never liked Niki. Micah is and always has been cute, but that's not enough for me to grant them precious Heroes time that could be spent on I don't know, NATHAN/ANGELA/MATT/MORE FREAKING PETER, etc.  I imagine Niki is going to go and try and save Monica and something is going to happen and she's going to bleed all over someone and spread the virus? LOL, I don't know. 

Also, I always feel like Heroes has to be 2 hours long, but tonight it was even worse! I blinked and it was over!

Since I can't stand Adam, I felt like his paws were messing about with my Petrellicest.

I did think Peter vs. Hiro was cool looking. I like the fact that time freezing doesn't effect other time manipulators.

I love Micah and Monica. I think Niki could be good if they'd letter play through a grounded relationship. She did beautifully with Nathan last season, and I saw that spark again this season. As long as she doesn't interfere with the brothers, it's all good.

I do like Niki with Nathan, you're right. I just don't like what they do with her sometimes, I really dislike the split personality thing. I just feels so out of place to me most of the time. And I can't explain why I like Adam. I'm kind of deranged sometimes if you haven't noticed. >_>

I think I need to see this ep again to really appreciate it. Part of my disappointment came from the fact that there was a blatant Nathan tease and no pay off! ERGH!!! *screams* But some good times anyhow. Some things I'm not clear about, and why is it not as crisp and neat as last ep with the different plotlines tying together? It seemed all over again. :( But I need to rewatch it. Will be doing that next week. Watching all the eps.

No current Petrellis interaction is very, very, very wrong. :O Ep 11. When the show comes back (I'm having hopes here), there's twelve more eps? Better be more Petrelli time. I am praying that Nathan's time hasn't run out yet. Because...yeah, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Adrian may be all accepting of when his number is up, but just no! I read the spoilers from the Insider months ago and they are coming true. If it sticks, I know one of the chars who dies. How on earth are they going to tie everything up with all these chars in one ep? That's kind of insane. I hope they pull it off. I mean, a well executed final ep would be nice and help to make up for the rest of the season.

Have you seen the Canadian preview? Some great scenes in that. One's a Petrelli scene and makes me very happy. :D Any Petrelli time is a good time.

Back to this ep...one of my disappointments is how all the chars feel rushed. Like Victoria? We could have gotten more on her. So she had a falling out in 77, but felt better about having a pic with everybody some years later? Unless we're supposed to expect that the photo is from 77, or before. I still think she has some relation to Niki. And in this ep, Jaime Ray Newman (Yays for Stargate: Atlantis alumnae on Heroes!) strongly reminded me of Niki.

*sighs* I just want a few more answers. I am so hoping the last ep doesn't disappoint. There's just so much that needs to be done...

Oh, this episode was totally all over the place again. Six different story lines all at once when we really just need three at the most. Hiro/Ando, Adam/Peter, Victoria, Niki/Micah/Monica, Claire/HRG/Mohinder/Bob/Elle, Guh. Just. Too much, ok?

Nathan totally can't die. Then Peter would die. Then I would stop watching the show, the end. The writer's aren't THAT stupid.

Yeah!! Kring needed to edit like crazy! And I seriously don't think it would have taken that much editing, really. Cut scenes a bit and there ya go. And we need fewer chars...though I love the ones we have. :(

Hayden was good, it's true, but I was just...bored. Claire, without HRG and/or a Petrelli? Boring stuff. That's why I disliked most of her storyline this season.

Maya was a little dumb mm? (Peter too though...) Yeah, she thinks Sylar and Mo are big friends but wtf. Sylar being evil was way too obvious...ah well. Maybe it was just her stupid smile that annoyed the hell out of me...
